EXAMS/Dream Ice-Cream

Yesssshhhhhhhh~ I got my "Dream" phone.
Remember about that other post about Japanese phones and how awesome they look like.
Well, 1 day after I made that post, I had to go to Jurong Point with my mama to buy a printer.

Yeah, remember Home Economics?
It was our only intention, printer and go home.
We ended up spending 3 hours in Jurong Point.
Doing what?

PHONE SHOPPING.
Yeah, why?
My mama's 2-year contract so we took a trip down to Singtel.
I was eying at a SONY ERICSSON PHONE, which I think is W980i I think.
Why? It look alot similar to Japanese phones.
It's got a glass cover and all, it was so cool.
Yeah, I was eying at it.
End up, she didn't get any phone.
Though her contact's ending at end of April.

Since Popular was at the corner, we took a turn and went to look at CDs.
(Yes, it WAS my main intention of going to Popular.)

And walking pass that small Starhub booth in Popular?

I know those above are just empty models but, HAVE YOU SEEN ANYTHING SO CHIO?
I took one good look at it and *gasps*.
IT'S PERFECT!

Sure, it's LG and all. There MUST be problems with the phones somewhere.
I'm gonna betch-slap you-shitbag!
It's perfect. Just perfect.

Of course, my contract was ending too, so...

Too bad, the phone's from Korea.

But it does look alot like those Japanese ones right?
Nevermind.

Exams? Hmmm, so far so good.
Nothing to say about exams though I'm feeling darn good that Chinese is over.

I want those super-chio Japanese handphones!

Yes, I went to Japan.
Yes I bought a kimono there. (It's super awesome too!)
No, I didn't try the hot springs. (Cos I'll have to go naked.)
Yes, I SUPER DUPER love the food there.

YES, I PLAYED WITH THE MODEL PHONES AT THE SOFTBANK STORE!

But, the thing that I didn't try is...

I didn't thought about buying a Japanese phone.
Yes, I've done my research.
Some phones ARE compatible here, if you manage to trick them into setting in a foreign SIM card.
OMG, I WANT ONE!

OMG!

EEEEEKK!!!

Yes, you may be thinking, HOW DUMB OF ME to torture myself with the pictures.
But they're super-chio, OKAY?

And what else did I find?! The language and be changed to English too?!
I ain't bluffing, I DID MY RESEARCH!

OMG, I want them.
And I have Kuu's CMs to thank,

Yeah, you know, not only did I love the phone while watching the CM,

I WAS ALSO STARING AT HER NAILS

(Yeah, sure, she's Kuu's fan, of course she'd see them. Now she's gonna talk about Kuu when some of us don't even know who Kuu is.)

As the matter of fact, yes, I am her fan but usually I don't get so attracted to her nails that drives me crazy enough to blog about them.

Yes I know, they're super long, and super awesome as well.
Yeah and then I stared at mine.
If some of you noticed, I used to hate keeping long nails and I always keep short nails.
And now after staring at...

I kept my nails quite long, I would have kept them long if it weren't for school.

Yes, special thanks to my first 2 customers who bought from me.

That item was really expensive though.
Thank you very much.

Exams are just around the corner.
Wanna read some relaxing posts from me.
I'm not sure if I can do it, but I'll try.

GUESS WHAT? (Okay I can't do it)
Singapore has Spring.
This is the first time I actually realized it from the 14 years I've lived here.
And only did when I came back from Japan.

In other countries, changes from Winter to Spring happens almost over night.
The temperature goes up dramatically.
Basically, the flowers start blooming and it rains more.

The difference between THAT and Singapore?
Basically (for some of my readers who don't live in Singapore), you can't really tell that the temperature drops.
Some days it's really warm, some days it's kinda cooling (it happens when it doesn't rain).
But there was a difference from when I left Singapore and came back.

That tree in the middle of the carpark directly outside my bedroom window.
You don't always see flowers on it.
I remember recalling that the flowers on it didn't bloom.
But when I came back. (sorry for the bad picture quality)

There's more at the streets.

Yes, I guess there's spring in Singapore. But nothing like Japan.

It's Not Here Yet!/Review on Music Project
Okay, I'm not trying to sound weird.

Ta-da! It's been like a week and

It's All Love Is Still Not Here!

Have Avex done something to this?
Is CDJapan slacking? OMG.
I'm totally pissed, what has happened?!

Okay, nevermind that, it SHOULD arrive this week.
If not, panic. S$20 gone.

REVIEW!
Okay, I don't like to judge people.
But since Noel gave me the link to his music project,
I might as well comment on it.

This is a little special, I didn't know they could actually catch everything on video!
I thought we had to do it live?
Anyway, I'll try to it the critics-way (I tried):

Good performance.
Easy to tell a storyline out of it.
Crude humor.
But it was slightly childish and violent.
It has the utmost same storyline as their (or Noel's) performance in literature
the other time.
Overall, very good effort, and I hope to see more of this coming from them.
I give

Speech Day
My first "Professional" post. Well, I'm trying.

Oh, we didn't screw up. Screw you if you hoped we did.
Seriously, I crossed my heart that we won't cock up.
And we didn't. Great.

This morning, I got up at 5:32AM. And dilly dally until 6:00AM.
And I was lucky that my accident source, has finished its course.
Yes, it stopped.
So there won't be a red patch at the back of my uniform halfway hentak kaki.

Oh gosh, at 6:08AM and my Dad hasn't returned from his mahjong getaway.
Yes, he wasn't at home since yesterday night.
But thank god he arrived at 6:19AM, exactly at the time I wanted to leave.
A 15 minuted drive to school, and OH YES!

PLEASE REMIND ME THAT SRI BORROWED MY WHITE SOCKS

No idea why she couldn't find her white socks at home though.
Hallelujah, she left her boots in the taxi as well.
Santa Maria!

Oh the drama, she couldn't change into the uniform until Christel arrived.
And so, she was the last person to fall in.

And through-out the wait from 7:00AM fall-in time to 9:00AM, when the guests arrive.
We had ALOT of water breaks. To be honest, this CCA Event was quite slacky.
I like it that way. But at the same, I do wish things would just move faster.

During the parade, glanced over at the band.
Okay, let's see, some familiar people whom I know are playing for the parade.
So far so good, Shermin... Yu Teng... Jolyna...
Eh? Why on Earth did he suddenly end up there?
Okay, let me explain. Si Yuan: If you're offended, I'm sorry. But this shan't hurt.

He told me and Travis that he's not performing for the parade but rather for the concert.
Okay, I was perfectly fine with that.
Liar.
Fine, lets skip the subject.

We stood in our positions and *drum roll*

Mr Bala Returns

He was in sunglasses!
And with Mr Gan beside him. Eww, I made it sound gross.

As I said, we didn't screw up. And easily marched back to the ramp.
I forgot! During one of the breaks we had, was to shift all our stuff to 1N2 classroom.
Surprise, surprise, OAD was already there.
Nothing bad about that but the thought of it just seemed a little awkward.

After the parade, we went back to the classroom, with OAD in there already.
And they suddenly cheered of us, aah kinda proud of myself though. :D
While we were still in our uniform, Mr Wong sent 2 guys to collect water and food.

And burgers from the canteen stall entitled "Lucky Cafe" were distributed.
Still warm some more.
Travis went on about it being too dry by the way.
Honestly I thought they were just fine, the water tasted like shit though.
What to expect from the NEWater system?

While it was going to be a long wait for the guests to leave the school.
Mr Wong started showing us videos taken of us doing the parade and OAD performance.
I kept on staring at myself throughout the parade and thought, "Aah, I looked fat."
According to my mum, a person will always look 10 pounds fatter on tape than in real life.
That expects why Kok Tung sir looked weird.
After that, we went to change back into mufti, alot more comfortable.

And in the process of waiting for the guests to leave.

Adeline suddenly gave a circus performance with the "NEWater".
And failed halfway, reaching down to retrieve it.

Just nice, after her act, we could eat our lunch.
Too bad I couldn't take pictures at it.
But the buffet line(s) looked kinda awesome.
Except the fact that someone dropped a plate of food and didn't bother to clean it up.
That part looked gross though.
Most of the food they served were finger foods.
We didn't want to take plates.
We: Eva, Travis and Adeline.

The trio whose gonna eat all the food.
Okay, I need inspiration on a better name.

There was a pretty long queue for the drinks.
And happened that after we took our share, there were none left.

We gathered back after our meal in the classroom at about 11:30AM.
And we helped to carry all the benches and tables back into the canteen.
You'll never know how exhausting that job actually is until you try it!
After that we took a break like for 1-2 minutes and we had to help to carry potted plants down.

Now I'll just skip until when all of us went home.

Okay, all of us went home. Nothing much there to talk about.

Updates again when there's something interesting to talk about.

Update: 2nd April 2009
Hell yeah, I'm back.

I haven't been posting in like forever.
But I'll definitely post more often. Why?
I've subscribed to nuffnang, and cos I wanted to earn extra more bucks
And adding on to my "E.M.B." plan, I revived my blogshop as well.

I know the stuff are a little expensive, I know you guys probably can't afford them.
PLEASE! Wait for the prices to drop or for me to post cheaper items.
Trust me, I WILL!
And this weekend, I will give my current blog (as you're reading right now) a makeover.
That "Japan Holiday" is already over.
I will blog about the holiday as soon as I get the pictures loaded up.

Recent events on me is, I'm addicted to Lady GaGa's "Poker Face" and Otsuka Ai's LOVE LETTER.
Initially, really the whole album. I'd set the repeat album icon on my disc man and listen to it the whole night.

And about "Poker Face", I'm gonna save up some money, and get "The Fame".
It's only S$11 right? From Popular?

Okay, I've got Speech Day coming up this Saturday, pray for me that I won't screw up or get involved in any accidents. *hint* *hint*
