Speech Day
My first "Professional" post. Well, I'm trying.

Oh, we didn't screw up. Screw you if you hoped we did.
Seriously, I crossed my heart that we won't cock up.
And we didn't. Great.

This morning, I got up at 5:32AM. And dilly dally until 6:00AM.
And I was lucky that my accident source, has finished its course.
Yes, it stopped.
So there won't be a red patch at the back of my uniform halfway hentak kaki.

Oh gosh, at 6:08AM and my Dad hasn't returned from his mahjong getaway.
Yes, he wasn't at home since yesterday night.
But thank god he arrived at 6:19AM, exactly at the time I wanted to leave.
A 15 minuted drive to school, and OH YES!

PLEASE REMIND ME THAT SRI BORROWED MY WHITE SOCKS

No idea why she couldn't find her white socks at home though.
Hallelujah, she left her boots in the taxi as well.
Santa Maria!

Oh the drama, she couldn't change into the uniform until Christel arrived.
And so, she was the last person to fall in.

And through-out the wait from 7:00AM fall-in time to 9:00AM, when the guests arrive.
We had ALOT of water breaks. To be honest, this CCA Event was quite slacky.
I like it that way. But at the same, I do wish things would just move faster.

During the parade, glanced over at the band.
Okay, let's see, some familiar people whom I know are playing for the parade.
So far so good, Shermin... Yu Teng... Jolyna...
Eh? Why on Earth did he suddenly end up there?
Okay, let me explain. Si Yuan: If you're offended, I'm sorry. But this shan't hurt.

He told me and Travis that he's not performing for the parade but rather for the concert.
Okay, I was perfectly fine with that.
Liar.
Fine, lets skip the subject.

We stood in our positions and *drum roll*

Mr Bala Returns

He was in sunglasses!
And with Mr Gan beside him. Eww, I made it sound gross.

As I said, we didn't screw up. And easily marched back to the ramp.
I forgot! During one of the breaks we had, was to shift all our stuff to 1N2 classroom.
Surprise, surprise, OAD was already there.
Nothing bad about that but the thought of it just seemed a little awkward.

After the parade, we went back to the classroom, with OAD in there already.
And they suddenly cheered of us, aah kinda proud of myself though. :D
While we were still in our uniform, Mr Wong sent 2 guys to collect water and food.

And burgers from the canteen stall entitled "Lucky Cafe" were distributed.
Still warm some more.
Travis went on about it being too dry by the way.
Honestly I thought they were just fine, the water tasted like shit though.
What to expect from the NEWater system?

While it was going to be a long wait for the guests to leave the school.
Mr Wong started showing us videos taken of us doing the parade and OAD performance.
I kept on staring at myself throughout the parade and thought, "Aah, I looked fat."
According to my mum, a person will always look 10 pounds fatter on tape than in real life.
That expects why Kok Tung sir looked weird.
After that, we went to change back into mufti, alot more comfortable.

And in the process of waiting for the guests to leave.

Adeline suddenly gave a circus performance with the "NEWater".
And failed halfway, reaching down to retrieve it.

Just nice, after her act, we could eat our lunch.
Too bad I couldn't take pictures at it.
But the buffet line(s) looked kinda awesome.
Except the fact that someone dropped a plate of food and didn't bother to clean it up.
That part looked gross though.
Most of the food they served were finger foods.
We didn't want to take plates.
We: Eva, Travis and Adeline.

The trio whose gonna eat all the food.
Okay, I need inspiration on a better name.

There was a pretty long queue for the drinks.
And happened that after we took our share, there were none left.

We gathered back after our meal in the classroom at about 11:30AM.
And we helped to carry all the benches and tables back into the canteen.
You'll never know how exhausting that job actually is until you try it!
After that we took a break like for 1-2 minutes and we had to help to carry potted plants down.

Now I'll just skip until when all of us went home.

Okay, all of us went home. Nothing much there to talk about.

Updates again when there's something interesting to talk about.
