Fallen Off a chair sideways
And live to tell about it
Oh, my.
Everyone's got that experience right?
Falling off a chair in school.
Whether it was in Primary School or, more unfortunately, recently.
You'd be expecting embarrassment coming your way.
A burst of laughter or sudden silence, perhaps.
Well, I've just got my first experience in 4 years!
That's right! 4 years!
I remember falling off a chair once, back then rocking your chair was a trend.
But have you ever fallen from one sideways?
Unusual and the probably the top of the list of worst everyday chair accidents.
Ah yes, a pretty normal day during the Mother Tongue lesson.
My class is 2E5 and we have only 15 students.
Pathetic.
Anyway, I reached for my books on my back by turning myself by counter-clockwise.
GONG XI FA CAI!
Yes, I fell!
I fell sideways, landing on my butt.
Not particularly painful, no one laughed but what I'm going to complain about is how I fell.
It was really unsightly.
I guess my position was... During labour?
But it was totally embarrassing.
And I found out, the legs on one side were tilted.
So who's the overweight person who sat before me?
Who's from 2E5, and probably big-boned/heavy-weighted?
Who sits on the right end corner of the class.
Well, whoever you are.
You must be down right heavy to be able to break a chair until it tilts.
Even Noel doesn't have that problem.
Or so it seems.
Whoever you are, I hope you fall tomorrow too!
At least completely break the chair,
Then no one would be a victim too.
And no, it NEVER occured to me that it might be me that's the one who's fat.
Well, I've never broken a chair so of course I won't believe it!
Joy to the World, It's not Christmas!
(Try the tune!)
It's 11 August 2009. Yup, 2 days after National Day.
Actually, this post is for no apparent reason, just to show everyone I'm grounded.
So, hello.
National Day's over.
We can all take off our red shirts now.
I just got the National Day gift from the school.
Oh god. $13 a person.
It's horrible. Just a file, with some dividers in it?
I don't even know how to use it, to be absolutely honest.
Well, god bless those who helped pack them.
It's not their fault, so god bless them. :)
And did you know the Red Cross first aid course is on 10 - 12 September?
At least that's what I heard. Sorry Cindy.
I remember hearing three paired-together numbers, one of them's 11.
SO, if they're wrong, I'm sorry.
Have a great week ahead, I know this is super short.
